Davide D'Angella has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.
Davide began their career at Studio Informatica srl as a Software Programmer from October 2007 to September 2009.
D'Angella then joined the Technical University of Munich in November 2014 as a Research Assistant, where they worked until October 2015. Davide later became a Research Associate and Ph.D. candidate at the university from November 2015 to March 2021.
In July 2018, D'Angella worked as a Visiting Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin for a three-month period.
In April 2021, they co-founded DirectFEM and held the role of Co-founder until March 2022.
Currently, D'Angella is employed as a Software Engineer for Computational Mechanics at Hyperganic Group starting in April 2022.
Davide D'Angella pursued their education in a systematic and academic manner. Davide began their formal education in 2009 at the Università degli Studi di Milano, where they studied Computer Science and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. Seeking further knowledge and expertise in their field, they joined the Technical University of Munich in 2013. Over the span of two years, from 2013 to 2015, they obtained their Master of Science degree, specializing in Computational Science and Engineering. Displaying a passion for cutting-edge research and in-depth understanding, Davide continued their educational journey at the same institution. From 2015 to 2022, they pursued a Doctor of Engineering (Ph.D.) degree, primarily focusing on Computational Mechanics.
