Sean Doyle has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and role titles. Sean currently works as a Staff Software Engineer at Hyperfine since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Enterprise Application Architect at MGH & BWH Center for Clinical Data Science from May 2017 to February 2022. Sean also worked as an Enterprise Application Architect at Massachusetts General Hospital from January 2009 to May 2017. Sean even won the Pumpkin Decorating Competition in November 2012 during their time at Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition, Sean was involved in significant projects at Proxome and MedCommons, Inc, where they received The Medtronic Ebola Innovation Award in December 2014 and worked as the CTO and Co-founder from November 2003 to January 2009, respectively. Moreover, Sean played a pivotal role as the Vice President of Engineering and Co-Founder at Amicas, Inc, where they developed the first web-based clinical diagnostic-quality radiology imaging system from 1995 to 2003. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Programmer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1997. Lastly, Sean gained experience in the field as the Director of Software Engineering at RSTAR, Inc, one of the first commercial PACS companies, where they began as a senior software engineer and eventually worked their way up to the role of director from 1989 to 1994. Sean started their career as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board from 1984 to 1989.
From 1978 to 1983, Sean Doyle attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
