Kai Sun is a Managing Partner at HYPER Ventures since March 2018, focusing on investments in startups leveraging Artificial Intelligence to transform various aspects of life. Concurrently, Kai serves as Director of Product Line Management at Ciena, overseeing the Data Center Interconnect Waveserver product portfolio. Previous roles include Product Leader at TechInsights, Chief of Staff at Lenovo, and Private Equity Associate at Knights Investment Group. Kai holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Master's in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, and a Bachelor's in Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
