Leonardo Torres Cerdan is a proficient ML Software Engineer currently at HypeLab since May 2024, with extensive experience in machine learning from previous roles including Machine Learning Engineer at Sumer, where innovative solutions using Large Language Models and Generative AI were developed to enhance user-generated product content. A former Data Science Teacher at Le Wagon, Leonardo supported students across LATAM, Canada, and the USA. As a Research Assistant Intern at the University of Alberta, Leonardo contributed to the optimization of prosthetic hand control through algorithm development. Previous experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Work & Health involved designing AI-driven healthcare solutions and developing models with Computer Vision and Signal Processing. Education includes a Data Science bootcamp from Le Wagon and a degree from Universidad de Ingeniería & Tecnología - UTEC, complemented by studies at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
