Aaron Freeman is a highly experienced engineering professional, currently serving as the Director of Engineering for the Space Segment at Hydrosat since July 2024. Prior to this role, Freeman worked at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from May 2022 to July 2024 as Director of Precision Pointing Controls. Freeman has a strong background in piloting, having worked as a Pilot at Go Jump from June 2017 to July 2024, and held positions including Optical Engineering Manager at Blue Marble Communications Inc. and Engineering Manager and Optomechanical Engineer at General Atomics. Freeman began a career in mechanical engineering at Raytheon from June 2008 to September 2012. Freeman holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from UC Irvine.
