Adam Kaplan is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as the Lead Engineer at TrueProp Software since January 2017 and as a Senior Project Engineer at HydroComp, Inc. since February 2007, where prior to this role, Adam held the position of Project Engineer. Kaplan also contributes to the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) as the Membership Chair, overseeing membership management and event planning. Adam's academic background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from the University of New Hampshire. Additionally, Adam was awarded a Graduate Assistantship scholarship during the 2010/2011 academic year while working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, focusing on hydroforming processes used in the automotive and aerospace sectors.
