Julian Charlesworth is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in geotechnical and environmental consulting. Since September 2016, Julian has held the position of Associate Director at Hydrock, having previously served as Associate and Principal Geo-environmental Consultant. Prior to Hydrock, Julian worked at Johnson Poole & Bloomer Ltd from April 2005 to September 2016, holding roles such as Principal Engineer, where responsibilities included overseeing geotechnical, site investigation, and environmental services, and Senior Geotechnical Engineer, focusing on site investigation design and management. Earlier experience includes a role as a Geo-Environmental Engineer at CL Associates from February 2003 to March 2005, specializing in earthworks for landfill cell liners. Julian holds a BEng(Hons) in Industrial Geology from Camborne School of Mines, completed between 1996 and 1999.
