Javed Abbasi has extensive experience in electrical engineering and network management. Currently serving as a Team Lead at Hydro One since June 2023, Javed previously held the position of Network Management Officer/Engineer at Hydro One Networks Inc. from September 2010 to July 2023, providing back office support to the Control Room. Prior experience includes managing major projects and network design at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority from August 2005 to February 2010, and working as an Engineer in DX Operation and Maintenance at WAPDA from May 1991 to August 2005, focusing on the maintenance and operation of distribution systems. Javed Abbasi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology and a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering from APTECH.
