Andy Hung is an experienced engineer with expertise in process engineering, hardware engineering, and materials science, specializing in the biomedical and robotics fields. At Hydraflow since January 2018, Andy focuses on custom production lines and process optimization for composite fuel pipes. Previous roles include hardware engineering at Brain Navi Ltd., contributing to automated brain surgery systems, and contract work at NanoIVD, developing a nanowire-based protein detection platform. Andy also served as a process engineer for an eye drug delivery system at Replenish, and as a material scientist at Advanced Bionics, where focus was on biocompatibility for medical devices. Earlier experience includes significant research contributions at Boston Scientific and an internship in electrochemistry at Second Sight. Andy holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, an MS in Electrical Engineering, and a BS in Computer Science, all from UCLA.
