Alex Shvartsman is a technology operations executive with extensive experience in IT infrastructure and cyber security. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology Operations at Hyatt Hotels Corporation since February 2017, Alex has previously held roles such as Head of Infrastructure Services and Director of IT Infrastructure Services, focusing on strategic cloud deployments and on-premise infrastructure. Prior to Hyatt, Alex worked at Optiv Inc as a Client Solutions Architect, providing guidance on cyber security to over 80 clients. Alex's career includes significant positions at Enova International, where responsibilities included leading production infrastructure teams, and at Orbitz Worldwide, where network architecture and operational processes were matured to support brand growth. Alex holds a Master's in Business with a focus on Information Technology from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
