Jim Adams is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as President of North American Operations at Natural Power Consultants, LLC since August 2009, Jim leads a consultancy specializing in renewable energy solutions, including wind, solar, storage, and biomass technologies. In addition, Jim has been an Advisor to the Board at HUVR since June 2021, providing insights on the renewable sector. Jim's academic involvement includes serving as a Visiting Professor at Skidmore College, where a course on the Engineering and Ecology of Energy Systems was delivered to Environmental Studies students. Previously, Jim held roles at AWS Truewind, progressing from Project Manager to Vice President of Business Development, and served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Boatswain's Mate from 1996 to 2004. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from the University at Albany and a cum laude BS in Science/Technology/Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
