Hein Brakel has extensive experience in structural design and engineering. Since June 2016, Hein Brakel has served as a Zittingslid at Huurcommissie and has held multiple roles at Pieters Bouwtechniek BV since 1983, including Senior Adviseur and Managing Partner. From 1988 to 2019, Hein Brakel was the Director of Pieters Projectbureau BV and worked as a volunteer on Christo's Floating Piers project in June 2016. Additionally, from 2011 to 2016, Hein Brakel served as Secretary at VNconstructeurs and was a Director at Pieters Bouwtechniek Haarlem BV from 1983 to 2008. Hein Brakel holds a degree from Delft University of Technology, where studies were completed from 1971 to 1979.
