Shashikant Sharma is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in computer-aided engineering (CAE) and finite element analysis (FEA). Currently serving as CAE Manager at Hutchinson NA Automotive since June 2013, Shashikant specializes in accelerating virtual simulations, knowledge management, AGILE project management, staff training, and improving inter-team communication. Prior to this, Shashikant led the FEA group at Paulstra CRC, significantly reducing design and development time for mounts through advanced optimization techniques and automating fatigue calculations. Additional roles include consultancy at Quantech Global Services and project engineering at Larsen & Toubro Limited, where Shashikant was involved in mechanical prototype design for mission-critical systems. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Design of Equipments from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, alongside multiple short courses from prestigious institutions in 2015.
