Previous experience includes a role as a financial analyst at Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Plc, maintaining data integrity and assisting customers with meter issues. As an energy engineer and procurement specialist at AGD Solar Training Ltd, Okereke utilized PVsyst and Homer for energy audits and managed the installation of solar photovoltaic systems. Early career experience includes working as a field engineer at Cabacaba Renewable Energy Company, focusing on structural frameworks for solar PV panels. Okereke holds a master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power) from Nile University of Nigeria and a bachelor's degree in Energy Systems Engineering from Girne American University.
