Lidia Sambito has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience (UX) research and design. Their most recent role is as the Lead UX Researcher at Hurtigruten Group since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior UX Researcher at Whereby from November 2021 to October 2022. Lidia also gained experience as a UX Researcher at Trint, focusing on AI-powered transcribing software, from November 2020 to October 2021. Before that, they worked as a UX Researcher at PRWD from June 2020 to November 2020 and at Trika from April 2020 to June 2020. Lidia also worked as a UX Teaching Assistant at General Assembly from January 2020 to June 2020. In 2019, they worked as a User Experience Researcher for NAVA as part of their final client project at General Assembly. Additionally, they completed the User Experience Design Immersive Course at General Assembly, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of UX research and design methodologies. Prior to their focus in UX research and design, Lidia worked as a Freelance Social Media Manager for N1 Unrestricted View Film Festival in 2019 and as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Depop from November 2018 to March 2019.
Lidia Sambito attended General Assembly in 2019, where they completed the User Experience Design Immersive Course in UX Design. In the same year, they also studied Human Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business. In 2017, Lidia completed the Digital Marketing Nanodegree at Udacity. Their earliest recorded education is a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Universit¨¤ degli Studi di Palermo, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Lidia has obtained additional certifications, including the Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in 2020 and Social Media Marketing from Ninja Academy.
