Penny Egan currently serves as Director for HealthLit4Everyone and COGNO - Co-operative Trials Group Neuro Oncology, and holds the position of Deputy Chair at Huon Regional Care. Since December 2019, Penny Egan has been a Director at the Tasmanian Council of Social Service and was the Chief Executive Officer at Cancer Council Tasmania from May 2013 to September 2023. Additional roles include Secretary and Director at the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, Director at the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Council until September 2022, and Director on the Accounting Professional Ethics Standards Board. Penny Egan's extensive experience also includes being a Board Member of CPA Australia from 2005 to 2016, where various leadership roles were held, including President and Chair of the Board. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at the Department of Health and Human Services Tasmania. Educationally, Penny Egan earned a Bachelor of Business degree in Business and Accounting from the University of Tasmania.
