Matthew Brooker has extensive experience in maintenance and procurement within the mining and resources sector, currently serving as Maintenance Superintendent - HME Procurement & Disposals at Hunter Valley Operations since April 2017, following roles as Maintenance Coordinator for both HME Procurement and Field Shutdowns. Previously, Matthew held the position of Plant Mechanic at The Bloomfield Group from January 2016 to March 2017. Matthew's career includes significant tenure at Vale from July 2005 to December 2015, where roles included Pumping and Dewatering Coordinator, Capital Projects and Overhauls Engineer, and Shovel/Excavator Maintenance Technician. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Maintenance Technician at Camberwell Coal Pty Ltd from November 1994 to July 2005, and began as an Apprentice Plant Mechanic at Howick Coal Open Cut from January 1992 to November 1994.
