Tom McCarthy serves as the Company Secretary at Hunter Christian School since December 2021. Previously, Tom held roles such as Paralegal at Hicksons Lawyers specializing in Workers Insurance Litigation from August 2022 to January 2025, and Law Clerk at Carroll & O'Dea Lawyers focusing on Family Law and Education Law from July 2021 to August 2022. Tom gained experience as a Summer Clerk at Allens, completing rotations in Mergers, Acquisitions & Capital Markets and Banking & Finance from November 2023 to February 2024. Additional positions include PASS Leader at the University of Newcastle and Borderless Learning Administrator and Curriculum Officer at Medowie Christian School. Tom is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Newcastle, with past qualifications including a Diploma of Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Business with a major in International Business, alongside studies in Competition and Consumer Law at the University of Sydney and International Commercial Law at King's College London.
