Elora Gupta has been working in the field of advisory for Humotech since December 2015. Prior to that, they were with Exoskeleton Std (ASTM), Global Co-op Assistive Tech (GATE), and Int. Soc. Wheelchair Prof. (ISWP). Gupta has also worked as the Senior Director for Global Regulatory Affairs for Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies from February 2013 to December 2015. In this role, they were responsible for heading the global regulatory strategy for oncology, ophthalmology, diagnostics, and digital medicine. Elora was also in charge of global labeling. From January 2011 to December 2012, Gupta worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University's College of Pharmacy. Elora then spent 15 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they eventually became the Director of Global Regulatory Science for Cardiovascular and Immunology Strategy. During their time at Bristol-Myers Squibb, they served as the global regulatory lead for Eliquis (apixaban). Gupta has also taught as an Instructor at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey from January 1996 to December 1998 and as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University's College of Pharmacy from January 1996 to December 2003.
Elora Gupta completed a post-doctoral fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Elora then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in college pharmacy at The Ohio State University.
