Susan Dorsey has been working in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years. Susan started as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver's Josef Korbel School for International Studies, where they taught financial management and fundraising for nonprofit organizations. Susan then became the Chief Financial Officer of Water For People, where they oversaw the finances of the organization and helped to expand its reach. In 2008, they founded the Dorsey Dyson Group, LLC, a financial management consulting firm that provides support to nonprofits. Susan currently serves on the board of directors for Humentum, an international development organization. Throughout their career, Susan has been dedicated to helping nonprofits achieve their goals and make a positive impact in the world.

Susan Dorsey earned their undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Vermont. Susan then went on to earn their MBA in finance and management from the Yale School of Management.
