Denise Heffernan has extensive experience in administration, customer service, and community engagement, currently serving as an Administration and Customer Service Officer and Ward Meeting & Project Officer at Hume City Council since September 2011. Denise's responsibilities include supporting Council meetings, organizing citizenship ceremonies, project planning, report writing, and providing customer service. Previously, Denise held roles as a Health & Safety Representative and Community Engagement and Customer Service Officer at the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program and supervised students in developing cooking skills. Additional experience includes community volunteering at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, focusing on case management, research, and support for asylum seekers. Denise holds an Associate's Degree in Community Development/Community Services from Kangan Institute, earned between 2008 and 2012.
