Alexandra Barahona Amador is a Business Systems Support Specialist at Humble ISD since July 2024, previously serving as a College Corner Tutor at New Economics for Women from March 2021 to May 2024. In this role, Alexandra assisted over ten students per semester with various subjects and managed the intake process for new families seeking services. Additionally, Alexandra interned at McDonald's as a Global Technology Intern in summer 2023, optimizing app delivery processes. Prior experience includes working as a Teacher Assistant and Community Representative at Los Angeles Unified School District and participating in professional development programs such as the #EarlyBird20 at Twitter and the Latinas Engineering Leadership Program. Alexandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California State University, Los Angeles, with education from Girls Who Code and John H. Francis Polytechnic High School.
