Deborah Hooper is an experienced professional in the fields of humanist ceremonies and brand management. Since January 2021, Deborah has served as the Director of Ceremonies at Humanists UK, where responsibilities include raising awareness of humanist funerals and weddings while leading a network of accredited celebrants. Additionally, beginning in January 2018, Deborah has worked as a Humanist Celebrant, creating and conducting non-religious ceremonies. Prior to these roles, Deborah held several significant positions, including Director at Hoopla Media Limited, VP of Global Brands at DHX BRANDS, and head of partner management at J.K. Rowling's Pottermore. Deborah has extensive experience in marketing and licensing with influential companies such as BBC Worldwide, Penguin Books Ltd, and Harlequin Mills & Boon. Education includes attendance at the University of Liverpool and Ward Freman.
