The Wildlife and Animal Welfare Team at Humane Society International focuses on promoting and ensuring the welfare of wildlife and other animals through scientific research, program management, and targeted campaigns. The team works on projects to protect wildlife habitats, combat the dog meat trade, manage dog populations in Asia and Africa, and improve farm animal welfare globally. They also respond to natural disasters affecting animals and develop strategies to reduce animal cruelty.
