Chrissy Gardiner is currently pursuing a master's degree in liberal arts at The Johns Hopkins University, where enrollment began in February 2021. Gardiner has extensive volunteer experience with the Humane Society for Southwest Washington since February 2016, focusing on fostering animals and engaging in dog enrichment activities. As the owner of Gardiner Yarn Works since August 2005, Gardiner specializes in providing hand knitting patterns and books, particularly for socks and lace. Former roles include serving as a Local Coordinator for Education, Travel & Culture, a master gardener with the WSU Cooperative Extension, and a designer for Twist Collective. Past professional experience includes positions as a QA Manager at Mullin Consulting and a Software Architect at Retek. Academic credentials include a master's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor's degree in Geology from Macalester College.
