Hugo Schoonewille currently serves as CIO Adviseur at Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport, focusing on IT governance and quality assurance since November 2024. Previously, Hugo held various roles at Software Improvement Group (SIG) from September 2017 to November 2024, including Customer Success Manager, Chairman of the Works Council, and Software Quality Guidance Consultant, where efforts centered around enhancing clients' software assurance processes. Earlier experiences include positions at Delta Lloyd as a Frontend Java Specialist, at Procam as a trainee, and various consultancy and development roles, complemented by a strong academic background with Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Leiden University in Computer Science and Applied Cognitive Psychology, respectively. Additionally, Hugo has experience in web development, teaching, and training, showcasing a diverse skill set in both technical and managerial aspects.
