Mahdi Safarnejad is currently the Head of Data Engineering and Generative AI at Huma, a position held since April 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager at Mofid Securities, where responsibilities involved directing data platform initiatives and managing teams to develop advanced data solutions. Additionally, Mahdi has contributed as a Tech Lead for AI software products and a member of the Risk Committee at Parsian E-Commerce Co. An adjunct professor at Sharif University of Technology, Mahdi has guided over 600 students in various programming disciplines. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Manager at Sepid and as Advisor to the CEO at Bank Saderat Iran, where significant IT advancements were implemented. Mahdi co-founded Pardazesh Gostaresh Fajr, focusing on smart card solutions and educational software. Academically, Mahdi holds a PhD, MS, and BS in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
