Lukas Malek is a Software Engineer at Huld since January 2024, contributing to the HERA mission focused on the Didymos binary asteroid system. As the Head of Events for Discover Summer Academy, Lukas organizes engaging monthly talks, while also teaching technical subjects to high school students through Discover Tutorg. Since September 2021, Lukas has been the Head of Avionics at the Czech Rocket Society, leading over 40 students on various rocket projects. Previously, Lukas completed a bachelor thesis at Czech Technical University in Prague, specializing in rocketry, and held roles in machine learning, marketing, and event organization. Education includes a continuing master's degree in Cybernetics and Robotics, a minor in Artificial Intelligence, and exchange studies at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
