Elizabeth Allendorf is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and artificial intelligence. Currently a Backend Engineer at Hugging Face, Elizabeth contributes to the Hugging Face Hub within the fullstack team. Prior experience includes working as an AI Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where Elizabeth led multiple AI projects involving natural language processing and computer vision while primarily focusing on backend technologies. Elizabeth also served as a Fellow at the Aspen Tech Policy Hub, helping to cultivate tech policy solutions, and was a Peer Learning Facilitator at UCLA, supporting students in physics. Additionally, Elizabeth conducted research at the University of Southern California under Dr. Fei Sha and interned at Sandia National Laboratories, optimizing computational efficiencies. Elizabeth holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
