Wilma Lukas, PhD, MBA, is the Founder and Managing Director of W Life Sciences, where the mission focuses on fostering innovative solutions in the life sciences sector while mentoring early-stage biotech and medtech companies. With extensive experience in evaluating over 2500 innovation opportunities across various therapeutic areas, Wilma also serves as an Expert for Innosuisse, providing evaluation for innovation project applications, and as a Senior Advisor and Coach at Fongit. Additional roles include Board Member at Unitec Technology Transfer Office, Member of the Innovation Committee at HUG, and Coach/Consultant for the University of Lausanne’s Healthcare Management program. Wilma is also involved with SNSF Swiss National Science Foundation, serving on the Steering Committee for National Research Program 79, and holds positions as an Associate Partner at bba and as a juror for >>venture>> Startup Competition and MassChallenge. Wilma's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Geneva, an MBA from SIU, and an MSc in Biology from the University of Lausanne.
