Sharon Slater is a seasoned professional in the fields of human resources and talent acquisition, currently serving as the Owner of Slater Talent Partners, LLC since July 2023, where strategic HR consulting and talent acquisition solutions are provided to help businesses thrive. In October 2023, Sharon took on the role of Director of People at Hudson Global Scholars, focusing on online and blended learning solutions for K-12 schools. Previously, Sharon held the position of Sr. Manager, People/Talent Acquisition at Hero from January 2022 to September 2023, and served as Director of Talent Acquisition at Hudson Global Scholars from April 2020 to January 2022. Other experience includes various roles in talent acquisition and recruitment at Cadence Talent Resources, Ember Education, Delta Career Education Corporation, and K12 Inc. Sharon holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from Ottawa University, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University, and a Post-Baccalaureate in Elementary Education from Ottawa University.
