Miguel Aguirre is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in the mining and logistics sectors. Currently serving as Senior Buyer at Hudbay Minerals Inc. since January 2017, Miguel has been integral to procurement and contracts processes for significant projects, including the $1.7 billion Constancia Project in Peru. Prior to this role, Miguel held various positions at Vale, where responsibilities encompassed senior purchasing and contract analysis for projects with substantial capital expenditures, such as the Bayóvar phosphate mine. Miguel's career also includes a procurement role at Doe Run Peru, an assistant position at Primax S.A., and logistics experience at FedEx and DINET.
