Karla Castillo, AIA, NCARB has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Karla currently holds the position of Principal at Huckabee, starting in January 2023. Before that, they worked at Collaborate Architects as a Studio Leader, Project Manager, and Project Architect from June to December 2022. From May 2019 to May 2022, Karla was an Associate and Project Architect at Stantec. Prior to that, they were an Architect at PBK from June 2016 to April 2019. Karla also worked as a Project Manager at NATEX Corporation Architects from January to May 2016. Karla gained experience as an Intern Architect II & Marketing at Hawkins Architecture from November 2012 to December 2015. Karla started their career with internships at Ball-Nogues Studio in 2011 and Architectural Solutions, Inc. from May to July 2011.

Karla Castillo, AIA, NCARB holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Houston, which they completed from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012.
