Beatriz Herce-Hagiwara is a Technical Lead at HubSpot since February 2025, bringing extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Prior to HubSpot, Beatriz served as a Senior Software Engineer Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Thrive Global from April 2021 to December 2024. Beatriz's career began at BNY Mellon, where responsibilities included Lead UI/UX Developer and Technology Leadership Program Associate from June 2018 to April 2021. Contributions to education as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant/Mentor took place at Grinnell College in late 2017, while research experience involved developing coding camp curricula at Glimmer Labs in 2017. An early role included program coordination and counseling at Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA from 2013 to 2016. Beatriz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Studio Art from Grinnell College, completed in 2018.
