Kristen Elder has extensive experience in bike education and environmental research, currently serving as the Bike Education Manager at HUB Cycling since July 2019, after holding the position of Bike Education Coordinator. Previous roles include Bike Education Instructor at HUB Cycling, where instruction was provided to students across 18 elementary schools in Greater Vancouver. Kristen's background also includes work as a Field Research Technician on the Burrowing Owl Project at the University of Alberta, and as Assistant Team Leader for the Student Research Program with The Quetico Foundation, fostering partnerships among various stakeholders. Additional experience includes logistics management for canoe trips at Voyageur Quest, serving in hospitality at Fern Resort, and leading canoeing programs for youth at YWCA Canada. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Zoology and Psychology from the University of Guelph, and further studied at the University of Stirling.
