Sabrina Bijlsma is a seasoned professional in the fields of energy, sustainability, and European project management. Currently serving as the NCP Horizon Europe & EEN Advisor for Energy and Sustainable Construction and Smart Cities at hub.brussels since March 2019, Sabrina has extensive experience with European funding programs such as Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020, including roles as delegate member to the Energy Programme Committee. Prior to this, Sabrina worked as a Project Officer at Interreg North West Europe, overseeing project implementation and coordination from 2010 to 2019, and as Project Coordinator at the European Environmental Bureau, advocating for sustainability initiatives. Earlier roles include an Officer position at the World Health Organization and International Policy Advisor at the Vlaamse overheid, where Sabrina managed international environmental policy processes. Sabrina holds a Master's degree in Human Ecology and Sustainable Development from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
