Pavel Patino has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over ten years. Pavel began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at CERN in 2010, where they conducted research on-site at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC) Particle Accelerator. During this time, they developed pattern recognition algorithms in C++ to extract useful information from physics experiment data.

In 2012, Pavel joined Sandhills Publishing as a Systems Application Specialist and later became a Systems Intern. Here, they designed and maintained a range of internal and client-facing web applications using the .NET Framework, gaining a strong knowledge of VB.NET.

In 2014, Pavel worked as a Software Consultant at SWC Technology Partners, primarily developing web applications using .NET and implementing customizations to platforms like Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

From 2015 to 2020, Pavel served as a Senior Software Engineer at OptiRTC, Inc. Pavel'srole involved working alongside the CTO/founder and contributing to the development of a platform that reduces flooding and improves water quality outcomes in stormwater infrastructure assets. Pavel played a significant role in building distributed cloud backends, integrating IoT devices with cloud backends, debugging hardware-level issues, and handling production releases and firmware updates.

Currently, Pavel is employed at HTI Labs as the Chief Technology Officer since November 2022. Pavel had previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer from November 2020 to October 2022. At HTI Labs, Pavel is responsible for driving the technological direction and leading the development efforts of the company.
