Jankarl Farrugia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and tourism sectors. Currently, Jankarl serves as Co-Founder of The Workhouse since April 2023, after founding Hospitality Ventures International / Hotelogique in January 2013, where Jankarl continues to lead as Director. In January 2024, Jankarl took on the role of Secretary General for the Malta Tennis Federation. Additional roles include Associate at HSP since June 2018, Chief Executive Officer at Mid Knight Holdings Ltd since August 2017, and a Council Board Member of the Malta Hotels & Restaurants Association until September 2023. Jankarl previously served as International Advisor for MaltaBNI from January 2011 to October 2014 and held managerial positions at IWG plc and Six Senses Resorts & Spas. Jankarl began the career at Special Interest Travel, Malta, managing contracts and products. Jankarl holds a BA Hons in Communications Studies and completed an Advanced Training in Tourism Leadership program focusing on higher management in tourism and hospitality.
