Jose Barreto has extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors, currently serving as Regional CIO for Enterprise Technology in the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye at HSBC since November 2012. In this role, Jose is responsible for quality delivery in AS Testing Services, overseeing a $25M annual project budget and providing support and governance for project teams in Malaysia, India, and the UAE. Prior to HSBC, Jose held the position of Head of Core Banking and Senior Manager of IT Programs at Lloyds Banking Group from June 2009 to October 2012, and served as Assistant Project Lead at the same organization from March 2006 to March 2008. Jose holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mumbai.
