Alexey Sokolov currently serves as Head of CMBO Europe and Head of Specialty Finance Sector, NBFI at HSBC, with over a decade of experience in various roles at the bank since July 2010. Responsibilities include origination, structuring, and performance monitoring of asset-backed debt facilities, as well as leading initiatives such as the CLBILS accreditation for HSBC Bank plc. Prior experience includes positions at NTT Data as Business Development Manager, Citigroup as Credit Analyst, and project management roles at NGO Development Center and AIESEC. Academic qualifications include a master's degree in Financial Management from Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics and further studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2020.
