Kari Wendel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and customer solutions within the meetings and events industry. Currently serving as the Vice President for HRS Group since January 2025, Kari has previously held various senior roles at CWT Meetings & Events from September 2010 to December 2024, including VP of Global Customer Strategy & Solutions and Global Vice President of Strategic Customer & Operations. With a strong foundation in program management and business intelligence, Kari has effectively driven global strategies to enhance customer program maturity. In addition to a successful career in corporate roles, Kari has contributed to nonprofit efforts as a Board Member for WomenVenture and has actively engaged with the National Business Travel Association as a board member and volunteer leader. Kari's educational background includes dual MBAs in Marketing and International Management from Rochester Institute of Technology and a BA in Marketing from Iowa State University.
