Dr. Henning Schmidt has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Henning started their career as an Intern at Lufthansa, where they worked on optimizing Revenue Management systems and processes. Dr. Henning then worked at Avis Europe as an Operations Research Analyst and later as a Lead Operations Research Java Developer. In 2010, they joined HRS Group as Manager of Strategy & Corporate Development, and later transitioned to roles such as Teamlead Business Analytics, Head of Search Engine Marketing & Business Analytics, Director Business Intelligence, Director Performance Marketing & Customer Analytics, and Executive Director Audience Strategy & Analytics. In 2020, they became the VP of Data Science & Strategy at HRS Group. Additionally, they worked as a Lecturer in Business Analytics & Data Science at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2018.
Dr. Henning Schmidt began their education in mathematics at Gymnasium Winsen, where they obtained their Abitur degree in 2001. Dr. Henning then went on to attend Technische Universität Clausthal, where they completed their Diploma in Economathematics from 2001 to 2006. Dr. Henning furthered their studies at Technische Universität Clausthal and earned their Dr. rer. nat. degree in Applied Mathematics from 2006 to 2009.
