Daniel Deeter, P.E. has over 30 years of experience in engineering and project management. Daniel started their career at Wight & Company as a Senior Project Manager, where they led interdisciplinary teams in civil, structural, mechanical, hydrological engineering, and environmental sciences for various site development projects. During this time, they also prepared construction plans and specifications that adhered to regulatory requirements and minimized costs for clients.
In 1998, Daniel joined Mackie Consultants, LLC as a Senior Project Manager, where they continued to manage teams and oversee the design and construction of commercial, residential, and light industrial projects. Daniel focused on mass earthwork, stormwater management, utilities, and pavement designs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Daniel's leadership skills and expertise led him to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel for the U.S. Army Reserves from 1989 to 2006. Daniel supervised the reconstruction efforts in Kabul, Afghanistan, including road construction, bridge repair, and the establishment of educational and medical facilities.
In 2008, Daniel transitioned to the role of Village Engineer for the Village of Hinsdale. Here, they were responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the Village's infrastructure. Daniel successfully implemented a long-term Capital Improvement Program, totaling $92 million, which significantly improved the bridges, streets, and utility systems of the Village.
Most recently, Daniel joined HR Green, Inc. as a Staff Engineer in 2022. Their role involves contributing to engineering projects and utilizing their extensive knowledge and experience in the field.

Daniel Deeter, P.E. received their Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they studied from 1976 to 1980.
