Mathew McDermott possesses extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as a Board Observer at Elwood and as a Board Member for multiple organizations including Coin Metrics, HQLAᵡ, and the International Securities Lending Association (ISLA). At Goldman Sachs, Mathew has held the position of Managing Director since November 2005, serving as the Global Head of Digital Assets and previously as the Global Head of Cross Asset Financing. Mathew's earlier career includes roles at Morgan Stanley in the Securitized Products Group. Additionally, Mathew is a member of the Bank of England’s Money Market Committee and became a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in July 1999.
