Szabolcs Sovago is a Vice President and Research Analyst in Public Credit at HPS Investment Partners, LLC since September 2022. Prior to this role, Szabolcs served as Vice President at PineBridge Investments, specializing in high yield bond and leveraged loan investment research for European Chemicals, Industrials, Autos, and North American Metals & Mining. Experience also includes positions as Senior Associate at Barclays Investment Bank, focusing on leveraged finance in EMEA, and as a Credit Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, analyzing leveraged finance for various industrial sectors. Early career highlights include participation in the Corporate & Investment Banking Graduate Programme at Standard Bank Group and an internship at Lehman Brothers. Szabolcs holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bath and attended the University of Virginia for academic exchange.
