Jose Santos has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jose began their career in 2006 as a SmartCities Business Consultant at Link Consulting SA. After three years, they joined Novabase Consulting as a Software Engineer and worked there for two years. In 2011, they moved to RichIT Consulting as a Software Engineer for a brief period of five months. In 2012, Jose joined Lendscape as a Software Developer and held this position until 2018. Jose then transitioned to the role of Java Developer and Team Leader at Lendscape, where they worked until 2020. Jose later became a Squad/Technical Leader and Engineer Senior Developer in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Squad Leader and Principal Business Analyst at Lendscape, starting in May 2021.

Jose Santos holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. Jose has additional certifications including ITIL(R) 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in 2019), Oracle Certified Associate in Java SE 8 Programming from Oracle (obtained in 2015), APOGEP IPMA Level D - Certified Project Management Associate from IPMA: International Project Management Association (obtained in 2009), and ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board (obtained in 2008).
