Gerardo Cisneros-Stoianowski

Gerardo Cisneros-Stoianowski is a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences and the American Physical Society, and a Life Senior Member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society. He was a Research Professor at the IPN and a Research Professor at the Institute of Sciences of the Autonomous University of Puebla (Mexico). Later, he held Applications Scientist, Principal Systems Engineer and Member of the Technical Staff positions successively at SGI. He is listed as a contributor to the NWChem computational chemistry application. Gerardo Cisneros-Stoianowski is author or co-author of over 40 papers on applications of computing to solid-state physics and quantum chemistry, and on programming languages for symbolic manipulation. He holds B.S. degrees in Physics and Mathematics and in Communications and Electronics Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN, Mexico), as well as M.S. and M.A. degrees in Electrical Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University.
