Dan Thomas serves as the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Hoya Vision Care since October 2024. Prior to this role, Dan held the position of Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Hallmark Cards from April 2020 to September 2024. Dan's extensive career in information security includes leadership roles at SS&C Technologies, PwC, VWR, Omnicare, Makino, Emerson, and Deloitte & Touche'. Dan's military experience includes serving as a Captain and Communications Electronics Security Officer in the US Army from 1987 to 1990. Dan holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, both from Xavier University.
