Sean Kodani is a scientist currently employed at Hoxton Farms since March 2023. Prior to this role, Sean worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Joslin Diabetes Center from October 2018 to March 2023, where research focused on enhancing the thermogenic properties of brown fat to address obesity and type 2 diabetes. Sean's earlier experience includes a postdoctoral position at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a graduate researcher role at UC Davis, where the dissertation centered on developing dual inhibitors of soluble epoxide hydrolase and fatty acid amide hydrolase. Additional research experience includes volunteer and trainee positions at UC Berkeley and the Center for Health and the Environment, respectively. Sean holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Molecular Toxicology from the University of California, Berkeley.
