Jia Lu, FRM, currently serves as a Quant Strategist at Deutsche Bank since September 2024. Previously, Jia held roles at Howden Group Holdings, starting as a Senior Analyst in Non-Financial Risk Management before advancing to Model Development Lead from November 2021 to September 2024. Prior experience includes a position as a Financial Engineer at Aon, also focused on Non-Financial Risk Management, from July 2019 to November 2021. Jia Lu completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Tribology and a Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. While at Imperial College London, Jia served as a Teaching Assistant, providing academic support to first-year students.
